2 posts permanent and 1 post fixed term to cover maternity.

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic solicitors for the following posts. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to solve problems in a pragmatic and timely way. You must also be able to work both independently and as part of a professional team and be able to manage conflicting priorities to deadlines:

• Housing and Litigation – There will be a strong focus on ASB work but also general housing management matters and recent experience of these areas, ideally within a local authority legal department, would be an advantage.

• Child Care – To deal primarily with care and placement proceedings however also in respect of fostering, adoption and general children’s social care matters. You will either be, or be keen to become, a confident advocate. Recent experience of care proceedings and of working in a local authority would be advantageous but newly-qualified solicitors will also be considered.

• Contracts/Procurement - Maternity Cover up to 11 months - To advise on and support a range of procurement, commissioning and commercial activity. You will have experience of either commercial, contracts, procurement or social care commissioning law.
