The successful applicant will part of a small team providing specialist outreach support to parents/ carers and practitioners. The work will mainly focus on young children with complex learning needs, particularly social communication difficulties / Autism Spectrum Condition. The support will include providing advice on strategies and resources to meet individual needs at home and/or school/care setting. An ability to develop positive working relationships with parents and a wide range of professionals is vital for the role. Equally important is an ability to model good practice and contribute to other forms of professional development such as training workshops.
