This post is the culmination of the development of Northumberland County Council's Adolescent Services response to the hidden or unmet needs of young people with speech and language difficulties.
It is a new and exciting opportunity to establish and promote the Speech and Language provision across the Adolescent Services. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of how speech and language difficulties impact on offending; substance misuse; education; relationships and the welfare of vulnerable young people aged 10-17. The ideal candidate will also be passionate about working with young people who require their workers to be persistent, consistent and committed to making a difference.
