This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established practice in a newly created role which will provide safeguarding support and expertise to both Foundations and the wider MRT service.
This is a full-time (37 hours a week) role initially for two years, with a competitive salary in a specialist practice which has recently been awarded an outstanding rating from the CQC for our care of vulnerable groups.
As Substance Use Safeguarding Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the co-ordination and management of all safeguarding systems within the MRT substance use service.
Within your role you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and act as the single point of contact for local safeguarding professionals and services.
We actively encourage innovative and progressive ways of working within General Practice and within the Social Inclusion Agenda. As a practice we have one morning a week dedicated to staff training and development which provides an excellent opportunity for progression.
