Current Legislation and good practice upholds the right of children to promote and maintain contact with their parents, even when they no longer live with them, as long as such contact is in the best interests of the child.
You will be involved in the ongoing development of the contact service and be responsible for the supervision and recording of contact between children and their families.

It is essential that you have at relevant experience of working with children and families and experience of multi agency working. You must also have good communication, record and report writing skills. Experience of facilitating contact and knowledge of child protection and the framework for assessment of need is essential. You must also hold a full current driving licence with access to transport or a means of mobility support.
