Bishop Ian Ramsey Primary School is a good school with outstanding behaviour located in Consett, Co. Durham. We are looking for a lunchtime supervisor to join our team. The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, caring and enthusiastic individual to support staff in maintaining the highest levels of behaviour and safety across lunchtime

We are looking for a lunchtime supervisor to join our team as soon as possible after Easter 2017 until 21st July 2017.

Duties include :

• Helping generally during the service of the meals
• Assisting pupils where necessary
• Developing and encouraging good manners at all times within the dining hall
• Actively encouraging pupils in safe, enjoyable games while they are in the playground
• Being responsible for the care and supervision of the children before during and after the meal from the close of the morning session until the start of the afternoon session
• Assisting the first aider with information regarding any accidents
Approx. 5hrs per week.

You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
