We are seeking a dedicated Support Assistant to join our vibrant care team. We believe that great care starts with the right fit-which is why we take a tailored approach to recruitment. Based on your unique skills, strengths, and experience, you will be skill-matched and designated to one specific house within our care environment.

Our Three Settings:
Depending on your experiences and skills-you will be matched to one of our three dedicated environments:

Residential Care: Providing long-term, high-quality support to create a genuine, warm sense of home for our permanent residents.

Respite Provistion: Supporting individuals and families with flexible, high-quality care during short term stays

Stepping Stones: Empowering individuals to develop independence, build confidence and master transitional life skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high quality person-centred emotional and practical support tailored to the specific needs of your designated house
  • Assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication (where trained) social and community access.
  • Promote independence, dignity, and personal choice in daily activities
  • Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all residents and guests.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider care team, families, and external professionals
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and record keeping across all areas of the site. 

Your Schedule & Flexibility:
To ensure our residents have 24/7 support, we operate on a flexible rota. You must be available to work a 22hour contract consisting of:
  • Mornings
  • Evenings
  • Weekends 

What we are looking for:
Empathy& Patience: A heart for supporting others and building positive relationships

Adaptability: The ability to respond effectively to the varying needs of the individuals in your house

Strong Communication: Great listening skills and the ability to work well within a team

Growth Mindset: Passion for empowering individuals to reach their potential (especially in our Stepping Stones service)

Essential Requirements:
Experience: You have a solid background working within a professional care setting
Personal Care: You must be comfortable and competent in providing all aspects of personal care.

Qualifications:
Ideally you hold an NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
If not, you must be fully committed to enrolling in and completing this qualification within your first two years of employment (fully supported by us)
