Northumberland County Council has embarked upon an ambitious modernisation plan utilising both traditional and cloud technologies to provide a more flexible and agile workforce whilst providing an efficient and accessible service to the people of Northumberland.
We are looking for a highly motivated person to work at a technical level within the Design Assurance Support team. A major part of this role will be dealing with ongoing issues, work requests and resolving complex problems, using agreed standards and tools.
You will play a prominent role in the delivery of infrastructure projects and maintaining Northumberland County Councils IT Cyber Security posture. A proven record in the management and deployment of software using such tools as SCCM and experience in using SIEM solutions is desirable.
This role will specialise in three distinct areas namely compliance, design assurance and incident management.
You must have a good general standard of literacy and numeracy and a technical qualification or evidence of competency in IT. You will have very effective IT skills and ability to understand and develop the use of IT to achieve work objectives and must be able to work methodically and systematically.
