Permanent Post 1 post 7.5 hours are split across the week (1 post or 4 posts Monday 4-7.15pm, Friday 12-1pm Friday 4-7.15pm Sunday 3-5.45pm
Job Location: Your normal place of work will be Freemans Quays Leisure Centre. However, you may be required to work at any council workplace within County Durham.
Salary: £18,870 to £21,074 pro rata p.a. Grade 5
The post holder will be accountable to the locality Aquatics Coordinator. The post holder will make a significant contribution to the development of the learn to swim programme and must be committed to continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
• ASA Level 2 Teaching Aquatics Qualifications
• Willingness to work towards and obtain the RLSS National Pool
Lifeguard Qualification or National Rescue Award for Swimming
Teachers and Coaches
