Are you a highly motivated swimming coach who is looking for their next role? Would you like to join an existing team of leisure professional to deliver swimming lessons to our Active Hartlepool customers? We have just the opportunity for you!
We are looking to employ swimming coaches to help support our swimming lesson provision at Active Hartlepool.
Active Hartlepool currently operate out of Mill House Leisure Centre, Headland Sports Centre, Brierton Sports Centre and Summerhill Country Park. With our new active wellbeing hub, Highlight, set to open in early 2026. It is an exciting time to be joining the Active Hartlepool team!
What is the job?
You’ll be working within Mill House Leisure Centre, before moving to Highlight Active Wellbeing Hub, to deliver swimming lesson provision to our Active Hartlepool customers.
Our swimming coaches play an important role in supporting the Active Hartlepool service to improve people’s lives through physical activity.
What do I need?
- To be a success in the role we require the following from you
- · A passion for helping others through physical activity
- · Hold a Level 2 Swim Teacher qualification
- · Enthusiastic and able to promote the Active Hartlepool service
- · An appetite to train and develop to be a multi skilled member of staff
- · To be a team player who is not afraid to try something new
- · An ability to effectively communicate with people from all walks of life
