Permanent position;-
MPS 2-6 £ 25,593 - £35,008 + temporary TLR 2a (£2,720) for candidate with suitable experience to co-ordinate SEND provision
Due to the promotion of the present postholder, the Headteacher and governors of St John’s Chapel Primary School are seeking to appoint an excellent, committed and enthusiastic class teacher to join our friendly, supportive staff team in our small rural school.
St John’s Chapel Primary School shares an Executive Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher with two other small schools and this is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to work collaboratively and share expertise with colleagues and pupils from all three schools.
The successful candidate will teach a mixed Y5/6 class of well-behaved and enthusiastic pupils. A temporary allowance is available for a candidate with the expertise to co-ordinate SEND provision across the three schools.
The successful candidate will:
• Demonstrate an understanding of how to provide an engaging, imaginative and balanced curriculum
• Have the ability to demonstrate excellent classroom practice
• Be able to become an effective member of our school team
• Demonstrate positivity and enthusiasm whilst working with children
• Have high expectations of children’s achievement and progress
• Be able to work effectively with parents, governors and members of the local community
• Have experience of working independently and unsupervised
