Do you have a passion for the early years? Are you looking for cutting edge practice in a large and growing Early Years setting? Then we can offer the right candidate a school where improvement and professional development are high on the agenda.
We are looking for an individual with a passion for early education and a high degree of skill. You will be a team player, capable of modelling excellent practice and of driving forward improvement.
Horton Grange, a two from entry school with 52 place nursery, is located on the north western edge of Blyth on the Northumberland coast, only 15 minutes from Newcastle upon Tyne. The Senior Leadership Team is committed to ongoing improvement. From September 2018, the school will be growing to a 3 form entry school, starting with Reception with the capacity for 90 children. The school was recently inspected and the early years was seen to be a strength of the school. Leadership is strong within the early years and the person appointed will work alongside excellent practitioners and have opportunities to develop leadership skills.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced criminal records check is required for this post.
Further information about the school can be found on our website.
An application pack, including an application form, is available to download.
