A Northumberland first school based in Berwick is working exclusively with First Class Supply to appoint a Teacher for Key Stage 2 Intervention work. The position is part time, two days per week and will run after February half term until Easter 2018.

The school is small in size, takes pupils from ages 5-9, and aims to provide a happy, stimulating environment where children can be involved in a variety of learning experiences. The pupils are encouraged to work both individually and in groups, to grow in confidence and become caring, enquiring and responsible with an enthusiasm to learn. Relationships which reflect a caring attitude are encouraged thereby creating respect and mutual trust between children, staff and other adults.

To apply for this role it is essential that you:

  • are a qualified teacher that holds QTS


  • have recent Key Stage 2 teaching experience within the UK National Curriculum


  • can deliver a dynamic and stimulating learning environment to engage pupils


  • can demonstrate a positive impact on pupil development


  • are enthusiastic, energetic and reliable with excellent interpersonal skills.
