Teacher of English and Literacy MPS UPR

Required for September 2017

The Link School delivers full time alternative education to learners across the City of Sunderland. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, visionary practitioner to lead on the teaching of English and the development of literacy across the curriculum. You will work with an established and experienced Senior Leadership Team to provide the very best outcomes for learners at Key Stage 4.

Are you an effective practitioner with a proven track record of improving outcomes for learners? Are you a teacher who can work with, and get the best from learners, who others find difficult or challenging? Would you enjoy working within a team where you will help learners find their confidence and rediscover their love of learning?

We encourage our learners to be highly aspirational and they leave with a range of qualifications including GCSE Maths, English and Science and the majority achieve well in the school.

Applications are welcome from mainstream colleagues and NQTs who are interested in a career in alternative education.
