A large secondary school in Newcastle is working with First Class Supply to appoint a Teacher of Health and Social Care to commence in January 2017. The position will be on a full time basis until July 2017. You will teach across Key Stages 4 and 5.
The school caters for pupils aged 11-19 and performs consistently well. The leadership team are relentless in raising achievement and have been able to ensure pupils make good progress. Students are considerate towards others and display good behaviour.
To be successful in this role you must:
• have a strong classroom presence
• secure good progress for all students
• be able to inspire and motivate
• be an enthusiastic and committed teacher with vision, drive and commitment
• hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
• have recent experience / knowledge of teaching Health and Social Care at Key Stages 4 and 5 within the UK National Curriculum.
