Berwick Academy is located midway between Edinburgh and Newcastle on the east coast mainline and serves the beautiful coastal community of Berwick upon Tweed in north Northumberland. We are a co-educational academy for pupils aged 13-18, with 630 pupils approx.

The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an ambitious, enthusiastic and suitably qualified teacher of French to work alongside an experienced and supportive colleague in the MFL Department in inspiring our young people. The ability to teach French at Key Stage 3 to 5 is essential.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and energetic practitioner with high expectations, be passionate about their subject and able to inspire and motive students. They must be committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning, through lesson planning, and careful assessment.

We are looking for inspirational teachers of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL). Applications from both experienced teachers and NQT’s are welcome.
