The Head Teacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, caring, creative and enthusiastic teaching assistant who is familiar with the primary school curriculum from Reception to Year 6.
The post is for one year to cover Maternity leave.
The successful applicant will work as part of our supportive and hardworking staff team and will have the ability to offer interesting and exciting learning opportunities to our highly motivated children (please state interests or expertise).
We are looking for someone who:
• Demonstrates high standards of practice
• Has experience of working with children with a range of needs
• Provides evidence of planning and evaluating learning activities and
observing/assessing children
• Has experience of supporting and extending children’s learning
through play
• Has a good understanding of child development and learning
(particularly in Early Years)
• Has a commitment to safeguarding and the care and personal
development of children.
Essential Qualifications: NCFE/CACHE/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (Teaching Assistant or Early Years or similar)
5 GCSE’s including Maths and English, grades A-C
