The Governors of Vane Road Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join this popular and successful primary school. The post will commence in September 2018 or sooner by negotiation.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team aiming for excellence in all areas of school life. It is a particularly exciting time for our school as we are due to move into the new school building in September 2018.

We require a Teaching Assistant who is able to provide exciting and stimulating learning opportunities and to support children throughout all aspects of school life. Applicants must be committed to further enhancing the very high standards which already exist in the school.

The successful candidate will also be expected to make a valuable contribution to whole school development and to enriching the experiences of our pupils.

Essential Qualifications: NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification

The Governing Body is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Any offer of employment will be subject to receipt of a satisfactory DBS Enhanced Disclosure.

Please note that the Childcare Disqualifications Regulations 2009 apply to this position and therefore you are required to complete the “disqualification by association” declaration form. Should you be successful in your application for this post, your appointment can not be progressed without this declaration.
