Teaching Assistant
Fixed term for one year in the first instance, commencing September 2018
School: Newminster Middle School [although you may be required to work across all three schools in the Three Rivers Learning Trust].
27.5 hours per week, term time + 5 teacher training days - Band 2
£10856.90 per annum
Effective support of students with special educational need and/or disabilities is a key priority at Newminster Middle in order to help all students achieve their full potential.
We wish to appoint for one year in the first instance, high quality, experienced and committed teaching assistants to work 1 : 1 with named students and join our welcoming and supportive team of staff.
With a track record of supporting students to achieve their targets and knowledge of strategies used, we are committed to supporting you in your ongoing professional development too. You should also have excellent communication skills, commitment to working in a team and very good numeracy and literacy skills, to at least GCSE Grade C standard or equivalent.
The role will be 27.5 hours 8.50 am - 3.20 pm, term time only plus five teacher training days
