The Governors of St Oswald’s C of E Aided Primary & Nursery School are seeking to appoint a caring and committed teaching assistant to join our team. They are looking for a teaching assistant who will be committed to working within the Christian ethos of the school and have experience of working with children with special educational needs. Experience of working on a 1:1 support basis and knowledge of ASD would be an advantage, but this is not essential.

The successful candidate will become a valued part of a committed and hard-working school team and play a vital role in the success of this thriving primary and nursery school. The successful candidate will be confident and capable in working with children and families, with an excellent understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality.
