Framwellgate Moor Primary School is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, to achieve CACHE Level 3, who will have responsibility to provide wide ranging support to a KS1/KS2 Teacher.

We are looking for someone with a ‘can do’ attitude, a team player, with good communication skills both verbal and written.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Providing high quality care and education in line with KS1/KS2 framework
• To assist in supporting parents and families
• To assist on planning and curriculum design
• To work as part of the KS1/KS2 team and participate in appropriate professional development
• To contribute to the organisation and administration of a KS1/KS2 classroom

Essential Qualifications: To have achieved at least 2 GCSE including English and Maths at Grades A-C

Candidates with a degree or equivalent qualification are eligible to apply for an apprenticeship if their degree was in a different subject area.

All apprentices are supported and guided throughout their placement by key individuals within their team with additional mentoring support from the Headteacher. The successful candidate will be given a mentor, work plan, traning plan and access to our in-house NVQ provider.

Closing date: Thursday 19th April 2018 at Noon.

Shortlisted Candidates will be invited to an informal visit on Monday 23rd April at 1.30pm.
