If you want to work in a village setting with wonderful well behaved children, supportive leadership and tailored professional learning opportunities then we want to hear from you!

The three schools are also part of a newly formed group of academies with Airy Hill and Westcliff in Whitby, known as Yorkshire Endeavour Academy Trust.
Our learning environment and education provision that is offered to our 46 children on roll is second to none and Ofsted in May 2013, and recent school reviews judge us to be an ‘outstanding’ school. The children benefit from smaller than average class sizes, a teaching assistant in each class and an exciting curriculum which gives access to learning in the wider world.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our KS2 team. This post is based at Castleton, although there be occasions when you will be working in partnership with colleagues at another school within our collaboration.

We can offer you:
• A warm, happy school where we value everyone and have a philosophy of kindness and support for each other
• Happy, enthusiastic and well behaved children

• A leadership team who welcome fresh ideas, traditional values and a sense of teamwork,
