The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, articulate, smart and professional Teaching Assistant to join our Upper KS2 Team from 1 September 2017, initially on a one year’s contract. The successful candidate will be a committed practitioner with excellent organisational skills and relevant paid experience of working in a school environment. The candidate will also be expected to be highly skilled at written and spoken English and understand the need for professionalism.

The main focus will be on reading skills and delivering reading intervention.

We highly recommend visits by all candidates before shortlisting as this will form part of the selection process. Shortlisted candidates will be observed working with a group of children and will be asked to prepare a relevant task for the specified age range.
