Further information

The governing body of St. Alban's Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a suitably qualified teaching assistant to work within Early Years. You will be required to work under the guidance of the class teacher supporting pupils in their learning.

The successful candidate must:
Be fully supportive of the aims and ethos of our Catholic school and preferably be a practicing Catholic.
Have high expectations of children's learning and behaviour.
Have the ability to inspire, motivate and engage children in the learning process.
Share a commitment to working as part of a team and forming positive relationships with all stakeholders.
Use own initiative to plan activities that address the requirements of the curriculum.

It is desirable if the candidate:
Has experience of working within Early Years.
Is trained in Read Write Inc.

If successful you will be required to apply for an enhanced Disclosure.

This post may require a declaration under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2009, including Disqualification by Association.
