Mickley First School is a happy and ambitious first school with a caring and friendly ethos. We currently have a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant to join our committed team from November 2016. This is an exciting role at the heart of the school and the successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring that every child is able to meet their full potential. You should be enthusiastic, energetic, passionate about helping every child achieve, have strong IT skills, a commitment to team work and be able to communicate well with adults and young children. The hours are across the school week, initially covering lunchtimes and some sessions both morning and afternoon. Hours will change across the school year as demand for nursery places change and new students join our nursery.
Candidates should have experience of working in a nursery and should have a NVQ Level 3 or similar in Childcare. This post can be applied for in conjunction with the Wrap Around Care post, please indicate if you are applying for both.
This post is a variable hours contract between 8 and 24 hours initially for 12 per week.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to visit the school prior to interview.
