Teaching Assistant with key role for Before and After School Club.
Hours 21.5 hrs per week, term time only (7.45am – 9.00am & 3.00pm – 6.00pm daily)
Salary band 3: (£8599-9081 per annum, based on 21.5 hours per week term time only)

The Governors and Head Teacher of Beaufront First School are seeking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic person to the role of Teaching and Learning Assistant to have a key role within our Before and After School Club and join our committed and caring team.The role would be to be a key member of staff within our Before and After School Club. The successful candidate will be part of a friendly, strong and supportive team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the early stages of the development of our Before and After School provision.
Applicants must have experience of working and communicating effectively with children as well as knowledge and understanding of teaching within the First School Age Range.
The post will be a permanent post with variable hours. Initially we would like to appoint someone for 21 and a half hours.
We are looking for someone to work daily between the following hours:
7.45 a.m. to 9.00 a.m.
3.00p.m. to 6.00p.m.
We may be able to offer a little flexibility around the hours to the right candidate.
In addition to the tasks included within the job description, the successful applicant will:
1 Liaise with and support admin staff with the paperwork associated with the BASC;
2 Work alongside other staff who run established clubs after school;
3 With support from senior staff, design tasks and resources to engage children of First School Age
4 Provide a healthy snack for the children
