An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Team Manager to join the Young Peoples Service, North Team and will manage the Young Peoples Service working with Looked After children 15 + and care leavers.

The role will involve line management of PAs and social workers and work closely with colleagues across Children’s Services.

We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the challenges and barriers of working with Care Leavers and in the delivery and development of a high quality service.

A key part of the role will involve developing the Local Offer for Care Leavers and working closely with a partner agencies improving outcomes for young people Leaving Care.

Required qualifications: Degree in social work or equivalent social work qualification, e.g. Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work (PDDipSW) Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW), Diploma in Social Work (DipSW), Certificate in Social Services (CSS)
AND current HCPC Registration.
