This post is based at the centre of the council in the Resources Directorate which has key responsibility for managing the council’s money and people as well as ensuring that democratic decisions are well informed and legally sound.

We are looking for 2 temporary (6 months) members of staff to work within the Archiving and Scanning Team based in Redcar & Cleveland House, Redcar. You will be required to provide a high level and accurate administrative service, working within the Archiving and Scanning Team. You will be asked to deal with sensitive and confidential information, with the main duties including filing, scanning and archiving of electronic records using database and excel, ensuring you provide excellent levels of customer service at all times. You will also be required to carry out general administration duties and will be required to work independently and as part of a team.

We would like the suitable candidate to have administrative experience in a similar role, covering a broad range of support tasks and procedures with experience in using Microsoft office applications.
