The role
We are seeking to appoint 2 experienced Administration Assistants to join our Admin & Finance Team with a focus on managing a central mailbox for Planning Services and other general office support such as handling mail, dealing with callers, filing, photocopying, collation, lamination, binding, maintaining and issuing stock in accordance with corporate and service standards. The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post. You will need to be enthusiastic, with a positive, can-do attitude; enjoy supporting those around you, and be a real team player. You will be responsible in providing administrative support to the various functions of the Planning Service. The role will be varied, fast paced, and requires a high degree of accuracy. We would like you to help us continue to develop our Service to an outstanding standard. You will be responsible for organising your tasks in the most effective and efficient way possible and will report directly to the Technical Planning Officer (Development Support).
