The Centre for Excellence in Creative Arts (CECA) is located in Hartlepool and is owned by Hartlepool Borough Council. CECA is a well-equipped centre based around digital creative industries. The centre contains facilities for TV broadcasting and film making, sound engineering, theatre, and coding, gaming and visual FX.

CECA will provide children and young people across the Tees Valley with an opportunity to study digital courses at various levels and will be the beginning of the pathway into employment in creative industries. CECA will also provide a base for a vibrant environment for artists to develop and deliver project based work through an artist in residence programme.

Hartlepool Borough Council is seeking a proactive, creative and enthusiastic individual to support the technical and operational delivery of CECA. There is a minimum of one full time post available however we are interested in receiving applications from individuals who are interested in full time and part time positions (please state on your application preferred working hours) however, the successful candidate(s) will be expected to work flexibly, including evening and weekend working.

We would be interested in receiving applications for candidates who have experience in any or all of the following areas:

Working in the creative sector in a technical role.

Knowledge and experience of technical equipment and software in any of the following areas – TV broadcasting, film making, sound production, theatre, visual FX and animation.

Working with children and young people in a creative or cultural setting.
