An opportunity has arisen for a team manager to join Hartlepool's Through Care Team. Whilst ideally, we are looking for a qualified team manager with excellent leadership skills this would also be an ideal opportunity for an ambitious practitioner who wants to step up into management, given that there is a second team manager who supports half of the team, offering valuable peer support. We want someone with passion, enthusiasm, drive, and commitment to achieving the very best outcomes for children and young people looked after and those who have left care.

The candidate will have experience in acting as a positive corporate parent and working with children looked after and care leavers and will possess a social work qualification at degree or diploma level (or equivalent). Previous experience of supervising staff, allocating work, and performance management, and possession of a management or leadership qualification would be an advantage.
