Following the Council’s recent investment into the Town Centre we are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate person to assist the Town Centre Partnership and Events Manger in creating effective partnerships within the Town Centre with local businesses and stakeholders and providing a one stop contact point for the Town Centre, for public, businesses and members.
You will also be assisting with the delivery of events and making Darlington Town Centre a destination of choice.
Darlington Town Centre was previously managed for 5 years by the Business Improvement District however since October 2017 the Town Centre Partnership and Events Manager has become the link with the Town Centre businesses and the Council.
You will have the experience of working in partnership with businesses and external bodies as well as having the knowledge acquired from organising and delivering events.
As an enthusiastic and passionate person for the Town Centre and events you will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as a positive and flexible approach to work.
