This exciting opportunity exists to join the Safeguarding Adults Board Business Unit to drive forward a variety work streams and key processes in respect of the Safeguarding Adults agenda until 31 March 2020.

This will involve supporting the development of a range of key procedures and processes and the design and implementation of a range of products including training courses and briefings to a wide range of stakeholders from health, social care and the independent and voluntary sectors.

The post will also contribute to the development of a variety of media, including the maintenance of and revision of our website as well as the production of a range of multi-media communications linked to our inter-agency training and communication and engagement strategy.

The successful candidate will be joining a small dedicated team that supports the work of the Board. The successful candidate will work closely with partners and colleagues within a wider safeguarding arena. This is pivotal to the development of a wide range of projects and initiatives aimed at the development of standards and practice, across the broad range of Local Authority adult and health service, and is at the forefront of inter-agency working.

Required Qualifications: Professional qualification/degree in a relevant subject. It is desirable to possess an adult teaching/training qualification.
