We have a permanent role for a candidate who is excited by the potential of North East England and are looking to deliver business engagement activities and administration support to a new regional government authority.
We welcome applications from those with a background in business engagement activities or an associated business degree level qualification with relevant work experience.
The role will primarily focus on assisting North East businesses to access business support, through the North East Growth Hub, to enable start-up, growth and scale.
The Triage Business Support Officer will front line enquires, working with internal teams and external partners. This will include:
- Managing incoming enquiries from a range of businesses, identifying business need, assistance required and signposting to the provision of business support.
- Outbound calling; speaking to business owners to gather intelligence and secure appointments for our Growth Hub advisers
This role is an entry level role into the North East CA suitable for graduates or experienced sales/business development candidates with an interest in supporting local businesses and economic growth.
