Laidlaw Schools Trust was founded in 2008 with one secondary school in Newcastle. We now provide extraordinary education at eleven nursery, primary and secondary academies in Newcastle, Wearside and Durham, and are set to grow further.

As Trust Lead Practitioner for Mathematics, you will play a key role in raising the standards of teaching and learning in mathematics. You will work closely with the Director of Maths, Heads of Departments and the School Improvement Team to develop and implement strategies that improve student outcomes and support professional development within mathematics.  This post will be predominately based in our Sunderland Secondary Academies, at either Academy 360 or Oxclose Community Academy, with opportunities to work across other academies in the Trust.

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced educator who is passionate about mathematics education and is capable of influencing and contributing to the strategic development of the subject across the Trust.
