Further information

Coast & Country are a leading housing and regeneration company, based in the Tees Valley. We provide over 10,000 homes across a variety of different tenures, from rental stock to shared ownership and outright market sale units. Coast & Country’s vision is ‘working together to make a difference’: with our customers, employees, volunteers and other stakeholders.

We offer excellent terms and conditions including a 10% employer contributory pension scheme, generous annual leave entitlement and flexible working, death in service insurance cover, local discounts and the chance to work and develop within a dynamic, friendly environment.

We have an exciting opportunity for two Universal Credit Co-ordinators to join the Income Management and Employability Team on a temporary basis until February 2019. This Rent & Income team oversees all income collection for our customers whilst providing a holistic service to help them with any issues they have with their income and benefits.

These new temporary roles will focus on planning and implementing processes to enable our customers to receive advice, support and information on Universal Credit in the Redcar & Cleveland area. The successful candidates will also train and support staff and UC volunteer champions on the processes and how to help customers.

To be considered for the role you will need an in depth working knowledge of Universal Credit Full service and welfare benefits. You will need excellent communication skills and experience of supporting/training for your colleagues and customers. As the post is temporary until February 2019 you will need the ability to prioritise and organise service planning to produce quick results.

We are not working with recruitment agencies on this vacancy. Please apply via the North East jobs website.

Internal candidates must discuss a secondment with their current line manager prior to application.
