Salary M1-M6 / UPR Full Time, Permanent Start 1st September 2017 Hemlington Hall Academy (formerly Hemlington Hall Primary School) opened in January 2014. What we are looking for: We are looking for an inspirational teacher to teach in upper KS2. The role will be working closely with the Team Leader. The successful applicant will be: • passionate about teaching and learning, and enjoy the drive of a Year 6 classroom; • an innovative and reflective practitioner who is keen to learn; • positive, with a ‘can do’ attitude; • committed to improving the life chances of every child. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking academy and a talented team who can provide support, mentoring and excellent professional development opportunities. We welcome applications from experienced teachers or NQTs who will: • model and disseminate high quality teaching pedagogy and practice to secure consistently good or outstanding
teaching and learning for our children; • be committed to on-going professional development; • contribute to the wider life of the Academy; • maintain a dynamic and inspiring learning environment; • be innovative, highly motivated and eager to take a lead in subjects / key areas; • have good interpersonal skills and be able to work well as part of our team. For NQTs, we liaise closely with the Middlesbrough School’s Teaching Alliance NQT programme, where CPD will continue and you will be supported alongside other NQTs from across the region. This enables aspiring teachers to support and learn from each other. There is a clear structure of support and challenge at Hemlington Hall Academy, with personalised professional learning through our NQT mentor.
