Further information

The post holder will be responsible for delivering a customer focussed vehicle stores function for Fleet Services, countywide.

Provide the vehicle stores function in an efficient / effective manner, supporting workshop staff in maintaining the Authorities diverse fleet.

Liaise with Fleet staff to ensure materials are ordered in a timely manner.
Ensure materials are procured from the approved supplier in line with the Authorities value for money procedures.
Accurately record stock transactions, direct orders, stock monitoring and stock checks / reconciliation’s on the Fleet Management System.
Ensure deliveries are checked, receipted and appropriately stored.

Required Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in a relevant discipline, Driving licence minimum category B

Due to the requirement to drive a County Council vehicle in this role, appointment will be subject to the production of a valid driving licence for the required category of vehicle and the satisfactory completion of an in-house Driver Induction Assessment.
