About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Front of House team at Kirkleatham Museum. You will be responsible for meeting, greeting and engaging with visitors, improving the visitor experience and dealing directly with public enquiries.

Applicants should have experience of engaging directly with the public and possess good communication skills, along with a knowledge and understanding of the demands of maintaining a public site for visitors.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, positive individual who is self-motivated and able to work using their own initiative as well as being a team player. The successful candidate will be committed to providing an excellent service and be willing to learn and develop their knowledge.

This is a fixed-term contract for 15 months. National Minimum Wage for your age will apply after the first year.

Apprenticeship Qualification
During your apprenticeship you will be working towards the nationally recognised Customer Service Practitioner Qualification, level 2 with Redcar Adult Learning based in Redcar College.

Essential Requirements
Apprenticeship opportunities are open to anyone over the age of 16 years old with no upper age limit.

You will need to have a minimum of:

Grade 3 (equivalent to a Grade E or above) at GCSE English and Maths or functional skills entry level 3 qualification in English and Maths.

You will need to be committed/willing to work towards the level 2 qualification and also a level 2 functional skills (Maths, English) qualification, if these have not already been achieved.
