Middlesbrough College are looking for an individual to maintain, review, develop and increase the work placement opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the organising, coordinating and monitor of learners whilst on placement. The role also requires you to ensure that all placement providers comply with the health and safety regulations and that appropriate risk assessments are carried out for specific learner requirements. You must also keep an up to date database of placement providers, and opportunities they can offer, and record their performance, through review procedures or otherwise, regarding health, safety and effective supervision.
The successful candidate will need to have knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety Legislation, current work placement policy and key strategic aims and also managing placements and dealing with placement providers. A full clean driving license is an essential requirement as well as being a car owner with business use insurance cover.
The role is to commence as soon as possible (subject to notice periods and pre-employment checks).
