Bearpark Primary School is seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional, with the enthusiasm, energy and commitment to teach in a mixed Year 5/6 class. The post is permanent and comes with a TLR2, with responsibility for the development of teaching and learning within Key Stage 2 and English across the school.

The successful candidate will:
• Have experience of teaching in upper Key Stage 2
• Have experience of subject leadership
• Have a good understanding of assessment
• Demonstrate excellent classroom practice with high standards of teaching and learning to motivate, value and nurture all children.
• Have very high expectations of all children, and be focused on standards and progress
• Have excellent behaviour and pastoral management skills
• Be able to work well as part of a team and be willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life

Visits to our school are encouraged and warmly welcomed by prior arrangement with the Head Teacher, Mrs J Stobbs.

Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
