Further information

Hartlepool is a vibrant and energetic town with growing prospects. As an authority we want to make Hartlepool the best it possibly can be and want dedicated, driven and committed staff to help us achieve that.

In recent years, Adult Education has undergone positive transformational changes to move it closer to becoming an outstanding training provider and in November 2017 the service was inspected by Ofsted, securing a Grade 2 (Good) with excellent features. Alongside this, the service is the first Adult Education ever in the Country to secure the four awards of matrix standards, Investors in Volunteering (2016), Investors in Careers (2017) and Investors in People (Silver Award) (2017). These awards recognise the highest quality provision offered to learners, the community and businesses and the commitment and dedication of all staff and volunteers.

Learning & Skills are seeking to appoint two full-time YEI Contract Officers to form part of the Youth Employment Initiative Project Team.

The post holders will be experienced in contract management with key duties to include implementing and maintaining quality procedures, providing support to internal and external partners and ensuring financial costs submitted by Delivery Partners are eligible and a robust audit trail is in place to support the costs. The YEI Contract Officers will provide support in the management of Delivery Partners to ensure that contractual obligations are adhered to and targets are achieved.

The Tees Valley Pathways & Routeways Programmes are part-funded by the European Social Fund and supported under the Youth Employment Initiative.

For an informal discussion regarding this post please contact Julie Seymour, YEI Project Co-ordinator on 01429 857088.
