A catholic primary school in South Northumberland are working exclusively with First Class Supply to appoint a Year 1 Teacher. The role is to commence in September 2018, on a full time basis, for the academic year.

This is a large school in an area of socio economic deprivation, which has consistently been graded Good by Ofsted. There is a shared passion and drive to succeed, and a determination to provide every opportunity for pupils to thrive. Staff morale is high with strong and effective leadership which has established a talented and enthusiastic team.

  • be a creative and pro-active practitioner
  • have an enthusiasm and passion for teaching with the capacity to inspire and nurture children
  • demonstrate a positive impact on pupil development
  • hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
  • have a recent, comprehensive understanding of the UK curriculum and assessment.
