A partner school of First Class Supply based in South Shields would like to appoint a Teacher to work in a Year 2/3 class for one day per week. The position is to begin after February half term until May half term.

This is a good school where pupils continue to make good progress across Key Stage 1 and 2 and where pupils make at least good and outstanding progress in Year 6. The teaching is good and sometime outstanding. The behaviour of pupils within the school is good and they enjoy coming to school and have a good attitude towards learning. Additionally, pupils who attend the Hearing Impaired Unit within the school make outstanding progress s their complex needs are well understood by staff. The head teacher’s drive and enthusiasm is making a positive impact on improving the school and she is very well supported by a strong team of staff.

We require a teacher who:

  • demonstrates a positive impact on pupil development


  • can deliver a dynamic and stimulating learning environment to engage pupils


  • has the energy and motivation to achieve excellence

  • possesses excellent interpersonal skills


  • hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS


  • have recent knowledge/experience of teaching at Key Stage 2 within the UK National Curriculum.
