A primary school based in Gateshead is working with First Class Supply to appoint a Year 3 Teacher. The position will commence in April 2018 on a full time basis, and will be for the duration of the academic year.

This is a smaller than average primary school. Teaching in this school is good and regular checks on the quality of teaching and its impact on pupils’ progress are successfully ensuring that aspirational targets and high expectations are being met. Frequent work scrutiny and sharing good practice results in improving standards. Pupils behaviour is good in and outside of lessons in this school.

  • are a creative and pro-active practitioner


  • have an enthusiasm and passion for teaching with the capacity to inspire children


  • hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS

  • have a recent, comprehensive understanding of the Key Stage 2 UK curriculum and assessment.
