A Primary School based in Sunderland requires a Year 5 Teacher on a full time basis, this long-term, full time position is to commence in April 2018 and will run until the end of the academic year.

This is a larger than average sized primary school was graded as good in its most recent Ofsted inspection. This is a well-resourced school which has an ARC for pupils who have difficulties with speech and language and has a separate day centre. Their Key Stage 1 team set challenging targets to encourage their pupils to improve their work. The curriculum is well planned and offers good opportunities for pupils to practise their writing, reading and mathematical skills.

  • can demonstrate a positive impact on pupil development
  • consistently teach inspirational and varied lessons
  • are pro-active, enthusiastic, and dynamic
  • hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
  • have recent knowledge/experience of teaching at Key Stage 2 within the UK National Curriculum.
