An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Cramlington Town Council's Community and Youth team as a Youth Network Coordinator.
This position within Cramlington Town Council plays a key role in the Town’s development of services for young people.
Duties will include:-
• Consultation with youth/community groups and organisations.
• Collaborative working within an asset-based approach.
• Furthering the development of Cramlington Youth Council projects and initiatives.
• Facilitating opportunities for training, skill development and funding.
• Promotion of young people’s positive contribution to their communities.
• Coordination of our school holiday programme of activities.
• Coordination of youth provision
• Providing reports and recommendations for the Community and Youth Committee.
• All duties to be in line with Cramlington Town Council Policies, Procedures and Code of Conduct.
• Any other reasonable duties as identified by Cramlington Community and Youth Manager and appropriate to the level and grading of the post.
Normal working hours will be 29.5 per week. Flexible working hours, occasionally including evening and weekends, will be necessary to carry out duties fully and effectively. When excessive hours have to be worked, time off in lieu may be taken with the approval of Community and Youth Manager's agreement. Holiday entitlement will be 25 days per annum, plus statutory bank holidays (pro-rata). A casual car user allowance will be paid for appropriate journeys. Where the person appointed enters into a pension scheme a matched contribution will be made by Cramlington Town Council. All other conditions will be discussed and set out in the Contract of Employment.

Annual Leave 25 days per year, plus bank holidays (pro-rata)
