We are seeking a passionate and driven Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Infrastructure Development Officer to support the North East Mayoral Strategic Authorities aim to create a green, integrated transport network that works for all. Through the delivery of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure programmes and engagement with a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in encouraging ZEV adoption and helping us to achieve our aim.
You will be an integral part of the team developing and delivering projects that support ZEV adoption and infrastructure expansion. Key responsibilities include:
- Working with private sector suppliers, local authorities, and transport providers to ensure the right ZEV infrastructure is delivered in the right places, leading the shift from petrol/diesel vehicles to zero emission alternatives.
- Identifying investment opportunities and developing associated funding bids for future ZEV funding for the region.
- Conducting research and analysis on policy developments, emerging technologies, and market trends.
- Assisting in monitoring and evaluating project outcomes, analysing performance and impact against regional goals.
