Further information

We are looking for a Play Worker to join a team which supports the work of Community@NE66 Charitable Trust, delivering play opportunities to children in schools and other venues throughout the county. The successful candidate will be required to deliver play work and informal education to 4-13 year olds, working with a team of various community practitioners and volunteers.

You should hold a NVQ2 youth or play work qualification (or equivalent) and have experience of working with a wide range of children & young people. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of the importance of play for all children and a clear understanding of safeguarding procedures. Experience of working with children with disabilities would be an advantage

You must be able to work Wednesday's 1-6pm and Thursday 2-7pm.
The position is available on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2018.
