The Governing Body seek to appoint a highly motivated General Catering Assistant to contribute to the overall ethos and aims of the school.
The successful candidate will assist our friendly and committed Catering Team in the preparation for and during service of meals and refreshments. You will be expected to carry out general kitchen duties including washing up, cleaning catering equipment and service points.
You must be dedicated and professional and be able to work on your own or initiative and as part of a team.
Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check
Duties will include:
Basic preparation of food
Setting up the dining area
General kitchen duties to include, washing up, cleaning equipment and work surfaces.
Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
This post is permanent role for 15 hours per week term time plus 4 cleaning days.
